Aleksandra Lvin, Piano
Co-founder
Aleksandra Lvin, born in Moscow, Russia, began her
musical studies when she was 5 years old at the prestigious Gnesinna School for
Gifted Children. When she came to the United States she enrolled at the New
England Conservatory to continue her education with Tatyana Dudochkin. Upon her
graduation from the New England Conservatory she received a full scholarship to
Boston University where she studied with exceptional teachers: Linda
Jiorle-Nagu, Maria Clodes-Jaguaribe, and Jonathan Bass. Ms. Lvin holds degrees in both Piano
Performance and Music Education.
Ms. Lvin won various state, national, and
international piano competitions including the American Fine Arts Association
Competition, and the International Young Artist Piano Competition. Along with
her local performances in Boston, she has also performed at Carnegie Hall in
NYC, and at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. In 2014 Ms. Lvin Co-founded
the Artemis Chamber Music Society with soprano, Lauren Cook as she remains an
active solo and chamber performer.

Lauren Cook, Soprano
Co-founder
Soprano Lauren Cook has established herself in the
Boston and MetroWest areas as a sensitive and intelligent interpreter of art
song, opera, and oratorio. Especially dedicated to chamber music, Ms. Cook has
appeared in a number of solo recitals and collaborations with the Iris Winds,
the MetroWest Choral Artists, and has been coached extensively by the faculty of
the SongFest program in Malibu, CA, where she was a young artist in 2009
In 2014, along with pianist and collaborator
Aleksandra Lvin, she founded the Artemis Chamber Music Society, a mixed chamber
ensemble with a mission of revitalizing the art song recital and connecting it
to the greater context of instrumental chamber music.
She has appeared in productions with Greater
Worcester Opera, Opera del West, and Riverside Theatre Works. Roles and scene
studies include: Quartet (Little Women), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Sister
Constance, Blanche (Dialogues of the Carmelites), Ilia (Idomeneo), Ida (cover;
Die Fledermaus), Frasquita (Carmen), and Tisbe (La Cenerentola). Also a
dedicated educator, Ms. Cook has private voice studios at the New School of
Music in Cambridge, MA and the Bedford Youth Performing Company in Bedford NH.
She holds a Bachelor of Music degree summa cum laude, from Anna Maria College
and is a student of Janice Giampa.

An enthusiastic teaching artist, Elizabeth invites audiences to form personal connections with live music through interactive workshops. She especially enjoys collaborating with schools to present workshops relating students’ academic studies to chamber and solo music. A dedicated teacher of private and group lessons, Elizabeth encourages musical artistry through balancing energy and spontaneity with patient attention to detail. She currently serves on the faculty of Boston area schools including Brookline Music School, New School of Music, Powers Music School, and St. Paul’s Choir School.
Elizabeth holds an M. M. degree in Piano Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College and a B. M. degree in Piano Performance from Ball State University. Pianist Elizabeth Chladil encourages
her audiences and students to embrace a lifelong participation in music through
her work as an active performer, teaching artist, and piano
instructor. She is a founding member of the flute and piano duo Marvento,
which performs regularly in the Boston area. She has performed in the
United States and internationally including recitals in France and Japan. She
has participated twice in the Musical Summer at the Mill in Andè, France as
well as the Aria International Chamber Music Academy. As a soloist, she has
worked with Peter Serkin, Robert Shannon, and Daniel Epstein. As an accompanist
and chamber musician, she has been coached by Martin Katz as well as the Moscow
Piano Trio.
